Hospitality Receipt

The hospitality receipt is an extended version of a normal cash receipt, which is mainly required for business meals. In addition to the items consumed, the following text is printed at the end of the receipt:

• Persons hosted

• Reason for hosting

• Amount of expenses

• In other cases

• Place, date

• Signature

The data for the printed fields is filled in by the guest. There are several ways to create such a hospitality receipt.

Create hospitality receipt as receipt

A hospitality receipt can be marked as such before creating a cash receipt. To do this, first register the consumed items. Before entering a payment method, you have to press the ‘Hospitality receipt’ button.

The hospitality receipt tag is displayed in the shopping cart and the receipt can be completed as a total invoice or with partial payments. Once the payment has been completed, a hospitality receipt is automatically printed instead of a normal cash receipt.

Print last receipt as hospitality receipt

If the guest requests a hospitality receipt after completing the payment, a hospitality receipt can be printed from the last created receipt. To do this, press the ‘Hospitality receipt’ button without first performing any input of items. A hospitality receipt is automatically created and printed from the last cash receipt.

Conditions

• No items or cancellation items are allowed in the shopping cart.

• No other receipts may have been printed in the meantime.

Create hospitality receipt retrospectively

If you want to create an hospitality receipt from an older receipt, you can use this function in the electronic journal. To do this, click on the ‘E-Journal’ button to open the electronic journal and then open the desired receipt. In the detail window of the receipt, you will find the ‘Functions’ button in the lower left corner. Clicking on this button opens a submenu containing the option ‘Print hospitality receipt’. Clicking on this option prints the selected receipt as a hospitality receipt.
