Configure Dine in / Takeaway
The 'dine in/takeaway' function can be accessed in the main menu in the 'Master data' section via the 'Products' button and the 'dine in/takeaway' menu.

Activate dine in / takeaway
Pressing the ‘dine in/takeaway’ button in the main menu opens a new window with the configurations for the ‘dine in/takeaway’ function.
To activate the function, click on the "Activate" field and an orange tick will appear next to the text.

If the function is activated, a selection field for the standard tax rate appears below. Here you can choose between ‘dine in’ and ‘takeaway’, depending on whether the company offers products for consumption on site or to take away as standard. This setting determines which alternative mode can be switched to on the register interface.
To apply the settings, press the orange ‘Save’ button in the bottom right-hand corner.
Set alternative tax class
If the ‘dine in/takeaway’ function is activated, alternative tax classes can be set for product groups and products. If no tax class is set for the ‘dine in/takeaway’ function for the products or product groups, the ‘dine in/takeaway’ button on the register interface does not change anything and the items in the shopping cart are charged with the standard tax class.
