Before you start using the card terminal, please read these instructions carefully.

Licence key

To use the card terminal, the licence key has to be activated first. How to activate it is described in the chapter Additional Modules.

Contract with Hobex

Before you can use the card terminal, you have to sign a contract with the payment provider Hobex. How to do this is explained on this page.

Scope of delivery

The package includes:

• 1x card terminal

• 1x product code
  

Connecting SmartPay P20 correctly

The card terminal should be connected to the power cable provided.

Configure card terminal

Step by step

To use the card terminal, the following steps must be carried out in sequence:

1. The card terminal has to be properly connected to the power cable and plugged into a power source.

2. An internet connection is required. The cash register has to be connected to the correct internet.

3. The device has to be added as a device in your primasello cash register by activating the licence key.

Terminal ID

To start the configuration, you have to have received your password and terminal ID from Hobex. When configuring, make sure that the TID (even if you have received a 7-digit number) is entered as an 8-digit number (if necessary, add a leading 0 to make it 8 digits).
