Safety instructions
Only use power adapters with the same mains voltage specifications as those on the power supply unit. Use the cable supplied.
Do not use the device near explosive substances.
Do not disassemble the power adapter or power supply (unless you are authorised to do so).
The power adapter should be connected close to the device and easily accessible.
This is a Class A device. Radio interference may occur in residential areas. In this case, take appropriate countermeasures.
If the power supply unit becomes too hot, starts to smell unusual or smoke comes out of it, disconnect the power plug from the power supply.
The cutting device on the printer is very sharp. Avoid direct contact.
Whenever work of any kind is carried out on the device, or when data cables are connected and/or disconnected, the device must be completely disconnected from the mains power supply. To do this, switch off the device and pull out the mains plug.
Do not plug in or unplug data communication cables during a thunderstorm.
In emergencies (e.g. damaged housing or power cord, ingress of liquids or foreign objects), switch off the device immediately, disconnect the power plug and notify your dealer.
Place the device out of reach of children.
Do not use the device near explosive substances.
Do not disassemble the power adapter or power supply unit.
Battery
The built-in button cell battery (not supplied by the power supply unit) has an average service life of at least three years.
Do not replace the battery yourself. If the battery needs to be replaced, contact the support hotline for quick assistance.
If the battery compartment cannot be closed completely, stop using the device and keep it out of the reach of children.
Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children.
Swallowing the battery can cause severe internal burns and ultimately death in just two hours. If you suspect that the battery has been swallowed or is located in other body orifices, seek medical attention immediately.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type.
Disposing of the battery in a fire or hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting a battery, may result in an explosion.
If the battery is exposed to extremely high temperatures or low air pressure, this can result in an explosion or the escape of flammable liquids or gases.
Please note
Avoid operating in damp environments or near open water. Some components may corrode.
Avoid operating in very cold or hot environments, such as refrigeration units, open fires or lit cigarettes.
Do not operate the device during a thunderstorm, as damage may occur in the event of a lightning strike.
Do not drop, throw or bend the device.
Try to operate the device in as clean an environment as possible and avoid small objects getting into the openings in the housing.
Do not operate the device near medical facilities without permission.
RF exposure: Ensure that each user maintains a minimum distance of 20 cm from the device.
Hazardous substances

- : Indicates that the proportion of toxic or hazardous substances in all homogeneous parts of the device is below the specified limit value according to SJ/T 11363-2006.
x : Indicates that at least one toxic or hazardous substance in all homogeneous parts of the device exceeds the specified limit value according to SJ/T 11363-2006. The reason for exceeding standard values for device parts marked with an "x" in the table above is that there is currently no mature alternative technology available on the market.
Disposal
Products that have reached or exceeded their maximum service life according to environmental protection regulations should be recycled in accordance with the rules for "Disposal of regulated substances in electrical engineering". Careless disposal is prohibited.
